Artist: Craig Erskine
“art lives in the mind’s eye of the artist… awaiting birth” ~ Craig Erskine
Art is not always subjective, it most certainly is reflective from the personal release of expression of the artist. The relationship the viewer has to the artist develops from how the viewer relates to the experience expressed by the artist. Those who relate to this art can feel the emotion expressed in its release. This transforms ideas and the artists message into the realm of art. Craig believes art should be more than decoration it should pass a message on something that speaks to the viewer, art means something. Artist: Roger Bailey
Artist: Kathleen Lambert
“Art is the passionate breath of my life. The sounds of horses hooves and the gentle dance of the butterflies wings are often found in my work. Their beauty, grace and power are woven into the fabric of my life and my art. I am fluent in watercolor, acrylic, oil and mixed media. My truest reward is found in the process of creating these pieces. This is followed closely by the process of sharing my creative gift and connecting with my students. It is a joy to complete a session with my students, as they smile and have a fully completed memento of their artistic travels.” ~ Kathleen Lambert
Artist: William McMahan
William McMahan grew up in Urbana, Illinois, and received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Printmaking from Washington University in St. Louis in 2007. He then studied at Indiana University where he taught “Drawing Fundamentals” to undergraduates for two years before receiving his Master of Fine Art in Printmaking in 2010. William moved to Jacksonville, Florida in 2011, and he has started teaching drawing through the Art League of Jacksonville. William has had work exhibited at the Danforth Museum in Framingham, MA, Manifest Gallery in Cincinnati, OH, and at the Grunwald Gallery of Art in Bloomington, IN where he had a piece win “Best in Show” at the 2011 NSAL Emerging Talent Show.
