The class offered will cover instruction on:
The Photoshop interface and layout: tools, menu items (brushes, swatches,effects, type, layers,preferences, etc., and general working environment), Explanation on resolution and different color space for different industry uses (Web graphics and print graphics), Making effective selections, Masks, File types and there specific uses in printing, Setting up work space and much more!
By the end of the class students will have been exposed to the Photoshop working environment, touching up Photographs, making a creative design using various images, file formats and their uses. Students will need to bring their own laptop with Adobe Photoshop installed (versions CS 3, 4, 5, 6 or CC. Note: Photoshop Elements will not be covered). Scott will be using Photoshop CC on a Mac but Photoshop is the same on Macs and Windows so no worries. WiFi Available!
Experience Level: beginner++
Prerequisites: Basic working knowledge of Macintosh or Windows PC
* Students must bring their own computer with Photoshop pre-loaded. Photoshop 5 or higher is recommended.
